CTFPND-1 V5 is a multimedia GPS navigation system with a large 7" digital touchscreen of 800x480 resolution. The device is equipped with a very sensitive GPS module based on SiRFStar VI chipset. The device also has an integrated FM transmitter/modulator which will enable you to hear all sounds on your car speakers wirelessly.
The device has integrated Bluetooth and microphone and enables you to connect to your cell phone (hands-free calling).

Das CTFPND-1 V3 Navi ist bis jetzt das beste Navi, das ich gekauft habe, die Tunnel codierung ist perfekt und hilft mir sehr viel bei meiner Arbeit mit Gefahrgut.

Sehr teures Navi, bei dem ein brauchbares Map & Guide auf einer mangelhaften Hardware läuft. Die Freisprechfunktion und Ausgabe über den FM-Modulator sind völlig unbrauchbar!
Systemvereisungen (Software reagiert nicht mehr) und Ausfall des GPS-Empfang sind an der Tagesordnung.
Vom Kauf würde ich dringend abraten!

Als LKW-Navi eines der Besten. Habe nachdem ich in meinem alten LKW ein VDO Navi nutzte, welches leider nicht mnehr lieferbar ist (Festeinbau mit Fernbedienung) mich nach einer Alternative umgeschaut. Festeinbau von MAN/Blaupunkt ist nicht brauchbar. Auch das Topmodell von TomTom konnte nicht überzeugen. Nachdem nun mein Trucknavigator 6.0 ein Upgrate auf 6.5 erhiehlt wohl eines derbesten momentan am Markt erhältlichen Navi's.
Sicher gibt es auch hier Verbesserungspotential; Streckenverbote können weiter aktualisiert werden, Lautstärke bei Verkehrsmeldungen reduzierbar machen, leider "friert" es hin und wieder ein, lässt sich aber immer gut und schnell neustarten, Tempowarner im LKW-Modus auf Landstraßen automatisch bei max. 60 Km/h, etwas ungenaue Bedienung des Maßstabs, Warnungen bei Steigungen/Gefälle zu spät, etc. Aber die Vorteile überwiegen ganz klar - und das könnt ihr mir glauben nachdem ich diverse Navi getestet habe. Z.b. die Kartendarstellung präzise wie von Map&Guide gewohnt (selbst kleinste Str. und Wege dargestellt) Die Geschwindigkeit zu justieren wäre schön, aber wenn man sich an das LKW-Tempo von 80 Km/h hällt (was bei sen Dieselpreisen ohnehin naheliegt) stimmen planmäßige Ankunftszeiten schon recht gut überein. Ich kann dieses Navi absolut empfehlen!
